DIRECTIONS Leave our office and continue down Leg Street into Beatrice Street and continue through two sets of traffic lights, turning left at the second set onto Gobowen Road. Turn right onto Whittington Road B4580 and proceed until you reach the roundabout. Take the first exit onto the A5, at the first roundabout take the third exit onto the B5069 and follow this road into Gobown, Cross the railway line and proceed to the roundabout, taking the third exit onto St Martins Road and then first right onto West Place and Hammonds Place can be found on the right hand side. LOCATION The village of Gobowen has a few shops, medical facilities and schools. There are three churches ? Anglican, Methodist and United Reformed.
There are around 20 organisations offering activities in which to participate. Local tourist attractions include Park Hall Countryside Experience, Chirk Castle, Whittington Castle and the Shropshire Union Canal.
The Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital is sited nearby.
The village has regular bus links with Oswestry, St Martins, Ellesmere and Wrexham.
