" Built in the 1950s, the house has been occupied by the current owners for 28 years and has been modernised and improved to provide a very well proportioned and well appointed home, that should appeal to a variety of buyers.

With uPVC double glazing and gas combi. heating, the accommodation comprises, on the ground: covered entrance into the hallway, living room with fireplace and gas-burning stove, dining room with French doors to the rear garden, fitted kitchen with a pantry cupboard and open access through to the adjacent breakfastgarden room, which also has some fitted units as well as a door into the garage (which has plumbing for the washing machine) and another door out to the garden.

To the first floor, the landing has a hatch with a drop-down ladder for access into the part-boarded loft space, and there are two double bedrooms - one with fitted wardrobes - a third bedroom (currently used as a study), a bathroom with a curved shower cubicle and a separate W.C.

Externally, there is a driveway and a pebbled garden with shrubs, to the front, and a well-stocked rear garden with a lawn, pebbled path and seating area and a small pond.

Dipwood Way is located just off the A694 that runs through the semi-rural village of Rowlands Gill, in the Derwent Valley. The A694 provides access to Newcastle (9 miles) the Metro Centre and the A1(M)(5.8 miles), while Newcastle Airport is 10.5 miles away. There are popular countryside walks and cycle routes in the area, including the Red Kite Trail and Derwent Country Walk, while the National Trust‘s Gibside estate is at the edge of the village.
