The Horseshoe is one of the most desired residential addresses in York, so-called for its sweeping curve forming the β€˜Horseshoe’ outline. Just off Tadcaster Road, the tree lined crescent boasts a variety of attractive properties, each spaced apart to benefit from generous plots with well-established gardens.

28a The Horseshoe offers spacious single storey accommodation set within substantial and mature grounds offering a remarkable degree of privacy.

The accommodation centres around a large reception hall with stairs leading up to a useful attic room. The layout of the property has been cleverly designed to offer living accommodation to one side and all bedrooms and bathrooms to the other.  Double doors lead to a dining space with French doors out to the gardens. From here, the room opens into a comfortable sitting room with dual aspect views.  The kitchen is another light and bright space with the benefit of windows to two sides and has timber base units together with a breakfast bar and built in eye level oven and hob.  A utility room provides space for a washer and dryer.  There are two bedrooms both boasting an en suite shower room and fitted wardrobes to one. A further double bedroom and a family bathroom complete the accommodation.

Outside, the gardens have been lovingly maintained over many years.  Laid largely to lawn, there is a wildlife pond and a great sense of privacy from the many specimen trees surrounding. Accessed down a private drive, the property has a double garage and is set well away from The Horseshoe itself, giving it an unexpected tranquillity.

Council Tax Band F - Β£2,297.25 for 2018/2019.
