  • Originally constructed in the mid 1930's this elegant double bay fronted family house proudly sits at the head of this beautiful tree lined crescent, which to this day still boasts the most sought after address in the city. The Horseshoe is situated just off Tadcaster Road, approximately 2 miles from the city centre itself and less than a mile from the A64 allowing easy access for commuting to Leeds and further afield.
    • We had the pleasure in selling this property to the current owners in 2003, 5 years after it had had the benefit of an extensive remodelling and modernisation. This was no ordinary modernisation, not only was no expense spared on the refurbishment but it was the attention to the detail of both the architectural and design sides that set this property aside from others in this field. It was not only the house that was subject to this attention but also the property has the rare benefit of a plot of almost half an acre, professionally landscaped and planted to compliment the elegant living accommodation. The property feels not only light and spacious for a property of its type but achieves that rare fusion of character and contemporary, so difficult to achieve. All this space has been achieved without the use of a second floor which could easily be added if the need arose.
    • It is without hesitation that we recommend an internal inspection to appreciate the detail and quality of what I believe is the best example of its type in the area.
