Appleton is situated in North Cheshire about 3 miles south of Warrington Town Centre. It is uniquely
placed between the M6 and M56 which bring all the major North West Towns and cities within commuting
distance. The airports of Manchester and Liverpool can both be reached in about 20/30 minutes by car,
London can be reached in under 2 hours by train. There is scenic open country within minutes by car or
foot and excellent facilities for outdoor pursuits including a major golf course close by. Near by is Stockton
Heath with its excellent shopping and night life. Education is served by excellent local schools. The house
is in the catchment area of Bridgewater High School which has the best results in Warrington at GCSE
and A level. Bus services also serve the nearby private schools of The Grange and Cransley.
Stockton Heath itself is a bustling large village serving one of the wealthiest areas in North Cheshire.
Within reasonable walking distance are parks and some of the county`s most productive and attractive
agricultural land where there are good facilities for riding, cycling and walking with all the other outdoor
pursuits including a local golf course.

From the centre of Stockton Heath proceed south along the A49 London Road and in a few hundred
yards turn right into Birchdale Road and number 8 will be found in a short distance on the right hand side.
