" Substantial semi detached house, built in 1886-1888 and situated on one of the areas premier roads is being offered to the market for the first time in many years. The accommodation which extends to approx 2,000 sq ft, is arranged over two floors currently but there is further scope to extend both downwards and upwards, subject to the usual planning consents and building regulations. As you enter into the hallway you are greeted with a wonderful sense of history evoked by the many original character features of the house including stained glass panels to internal and external windows, fretwork balustrading on the staircase and fireplaces in many of the rooms. From the entrance hall you enter the main drawing room with large square bay window and a feature fireplace still serviced with a gas flame effect fire. From the drawing room you can gain access to the dining room and then through to the large kitchen/breakfast room, which in turn leads onto a utility area with separate WC and a very comfortable brick and glass conservatory overlooking the mature and pretty south west facing private garden. Accommodation on the first floor consists of four double bedrooms and a family bathroom.

The accommodation can be further enhanced by extending into the large loft (stpp) and there is further potential to create a media room or home cinema in the large basement area accessed from the main entrance hall. This is an amazing opportunity to create a wonderful family house and viewings are highly recommended by the owner's sole agent.
