" Situated close to the centre of Wadhurst village, within easy walking distance of the High Street is this circa 1900 period cottage with a good mix of contemporary and Victorian features. Western Road itself is a sought after location in the Sparrows Green area of this wonderful picturesque village in East Sussex. The current owners have lived in the property for a number of years and in that time have added the useful addition of off road parking to the front, which is invaluable for access when transporting heavy items. There is also side access via a gate which extends into a hard-standing area and a good size garden, which extends to over approx. 80'. The property itself has an extension to the rear which creates a bright and open kitchen/breakfast area extending to over 20'. The lounge and dining room are also of good size and upstairs you will find two double bedrooms and the bathroom with additional shower cubicle. Additionally there is an attic room with a Velux style window providing light and ventilation. The property is ideally located within a short walk to the local schools and also for the commuter, there is a station in the area which is easily accessible with a good size car park and trains running to and from London. There are lots of local pubs and a local store which will suit all your everyday needs and a wider range of shops available a short walk into Wadhurst High Street. The current owners like the area so much that they are actually moving within the area!

We love living here as it's so peaceful and feels really private. The school is very close and also the park, which has been ideal and having such a large garden has enabled us to have a dog and there are so many nearby country walks which we use frequently. We have the added bonus of off road parking which we put in ourselves a few years ago. This cottage has been a lovely family home for us, however, we now need to move on but we will be looking to move within the area as we love Wadhurst so much.
