" The village of Aldington lies deep in the heart of the Kentish countryside to the south east of Ashford. Village life is thriving here and the local shop remains open, as does the butchers and The Walnut Tree Inn. there's a village cricket team and in August every year, Aldington plays host to the Soap Box Derby, a fun and exciting spectacle.
Walnut Ridge is central to the village and overlooks the green to the front. This home has an additional annexe, complete with its own front door, kitchen and wet room. This home would suit a family with elderly or disabled relative. It could also be used to run a small business or just an area to suite a growing teenager.
The main house has a useful porch and entrance hall, large enough to be used as a study. The main lounge remains cool in the summers months, as the kitchen and dining area benefit from the sun most of the day and look out over the 60' garden. A door in the utility room provides access through to the annexe so the whole house can be used as one if necessary.

What the Owner says:

When I saw this property 15 years ago it was definitely a case of right time, right place. I was pregnant with our second daughter and didn't want the stress of a long move and as we already lived in the village, a move around the corner was perfect. This house immediately felt like home and the big windows make it feel bright and roomy. We had the annexe built for my mother about 5 years ago and now my daughters use it for when they have friends over.
