DESCRIPTION

This super three bedroom end of terrace cottage enjoys a rural outlook yet is within walking distance of the village centre.  The property was built in approximately 1905 and was extended in the 1980’s and some windows are double glazed (to the front) and two sash windows have been renewed in the bedroom and attic room. There is an upstairs bathroom and gas central heating with a replacement boiler fitted in 2008. There is further scope for refurbishment. The cottage enjoys a large garden backing onto farmland and off road parking to the front.

LOCATION

Situated in the lovely village of Marden which offers a wide range of local amenities including a medical centre, chemist, pubs and restaurants.  There is an excellent primary school and the mainline station offers an excellent commuter service to London (Charing Cross) in approximately 55 minutes.   Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells with their wider range of leisure facilities are easily reached.

13’3 x 12’6   Double glazed window to side. Radiator. Storage cupboards. Storage recess.

BATHROOM 

Double glazed window to rear. Panelled bath with mixer tap. Pedestal wash basin and central mixer tap. Close coupled w.c.  Built in shower cubicle and shower. Radiator.

OUTSIDE 

The property overlooks a field to the front and there is a lawn garden with natural hedging and off road parking. There is a shared pedestrian access to the side with a right of way for the next door neighbour. The side gate leads through to the rear garden which is approximately 140’ long and has fenced and hedge boundaries. The lawn has a path leading down to a covered seating area and then on to an additional lawn and shed.  Further garden to vegetable patch and shed. At the end of the garden is a vegetable area and the garden backs onto fields.
