" The Armoury is an extremely interesting development of historical significance which was originally built circa 1856 for storage of gunpowder during the Napoleonic wars. The grade II listed building has since been sympathetically converted into luxury modern style homes around a communal central courtyard. The property is situated on the edge of Southampton Water and has retained much of its original charm and character such as sash windows and exposed beams.
