Union Road is a popular location close to the station and town centre and comprises a pleasant mixture of properties, with this particular Victorian end terrace dating back to the 1890's. The house is constructed to attractive red brick elevations with large bay window to the front and is set back from the pavement by a small front garden with brick walling. Special mention must be made of the private side garden which is laid to lawn and leads through to the rear with a paved patio area, brick outbuilding and steps leading down to a further lawned garden area. We recommend an internal viewing of the deceptively spacious superbly presented accommodation laid out over three floors, which offers an abundance of character and is listed in detail overleaf. On the ground floor an entrance hall with stripped wooden flooring gives access to the spacious lounge with feature cast iron fireplace and previously mentioned large bay window and the generous dining room with an attractive period fireplace with oak surround. This in turn opens onto the fully fitted kitchen at the rear. In addition there is a good size conservatory with access to the garden and a large two chamber cellar. At first floor level there are two larger than average double bedrooms, both with feature fireplace and the master benefits from a superb range of wardrobes with matching dressing table. The family bathroom is well appointed with a period style suite in white including roll top bath and separate large shower enclosure. On the second floor there are two converted loft rooms, which provide useful extra living or bedroom space. The house is warmed by gas fired central heating and has uPVC double glazing, and with an attractive standard of decoration maintained throughout, will be ready for immediate occupation.
