" Large ground floor one bedroom flat in the town centre of Hitchin. Great for downsizing, investment or a first home. The accommodation includes a communal hall with a large storage lockable storage cupboard, entrance hall with further storage, spacious living room, fitted kitchen, double bedroom and bathroom. Outside there are communal gardens and parking area which has security fob access.

Cannon House is presumably named after Cannon's Yard which was on Queen Street in 1891. Queen Street itself was renamed in 1889 and originally was known as Back Street.

It is located next door to one of Hitchin favourite pubs The Half Moon, which is a split-level one bar pub dating back to 1748, once owned by Hitchin brewer W & S Lucus. It has a great reputation amongst the real ale community & has become renowned for the quality & variety of real ales & ciders on offer. It has received several awards from CAMRA, including Herts Pub of the Year twice.

Around the corner in Bridge Street there is another favourite The Bistro which provides an excellent restaurant experience. The market which Hitchin is well known for is just a short walk away with full markets on Tuesdays and Saturdays.

The station is also a reasonable walk from the property and all the facilities of the town are on the doorstep. This is a great location from which to enjoy all Hitchin has to offer.
