" Picture this. At the end of yet another busy day you simply walk up to the gate, knowing that as soon as you're through the front door you'll be shutting it all away behind you. You go into your favourite space - the heart of the home - the kitchen, and your eyes immediately fall on the wine fridge! Well why not - if it's still light and sunny there's just a compulsion to open the doors to the garden and let the outside in, but the garden is such a nice place to dwell.

Of course if the garden is not the right place, then the snug lounge should be as you fall into a nice comfy armchair and relax as the world passes by.

It's actually quite hard to think how best to portray this lovely house in words as there are just so many nice things to say. The pictures speak volumes. But there's nothing quite like seeing it, and experiencing it, for yourself. You'd better be quick though, as there's expected to be lot of interest, and a very happy someone will be bagging themselves a truly superb home.

Let's walk through the house.

This home includes:

  • Hall

Walking through the front door we arrive in the hall extending from front to back. Walking past the radiator and the floor to ceiling huge storage cupboards we get to double doors leading to the garden

  • Lounge - Approx. 3.7 m x 3.7 m

To the front is the superb lounge with fireplace with gas fire, radiator with decorative cover

  • Shower Room

This room is a both shower room with basin and WC, and utility room with space for washing machine

  • Kitchen Diner - Approx. 4.4 m x 3.4 m

    (14.9 sqm) - 14' 5" x 11' 1" (161 sqft)

The kitchen is at the heart of the home, and boasts a large number of cupboard units, stainless steel range cooker with extractor hood, deep stainless steel sink with water filter tap, vertical stainless steel designer radiator, wine fridge (essential of course), integrated dishwasher, and the Worcester combination boiler. Fully glazed doors look out and lead out onto the patio of the excellent rear garden

  • Bedroom 2 - Approx. 3 m x 3 m

    (9 sqm) - 9' 10" x 9' 10" (96 sqft)

Ingeniously devised to be accessed by both bedrooms, the upstairs bathroom has a double sized walk-in rain shower, white suite of basin, WC, and a fantastic tubby bath, antique style radiator, and the best views of the house towards St Martin's and Boxhill beyond

  • Garden

The garden has so many nice features, that a written description just can't really do it proper justice, and it needs to be seen - or more so experienced. If the sun is out, then it's just a magnet pulling you out to go and be in it. There a patio area for al fresco dining, another area for the sunlounger, there's a water feature, an ivy-clad tree, plus a superb summerhouse in the corner with far-reaching views to Ranmore

The house has French engineered oak floors throughout - excepting the kitchen and downstairs cloakroom which are tiled. There are also Mumford & Wood timber sash windows with double glazed units, chrome electric fittings, and downlights throughout.
