" When you find the ideal house in the ideal location, there always seems to be that one thing you have compromise on. Most of the time with a 3 bedroom house it's the size of the 3rd bedroom. Not in this case - you have 3 double bedrooms here. The main and second bedrooms have built-in wardrobes, the master bedroom also has the luxury of an en-suite shower room. The 3rd bedroom, however, is the one over the garage and although it doesn't have wardrobes it does have a view towards the South Downs. You won't be disappointed in the ground floor either. The entrance hall leads into the sitting room at the front of the house with a bay window which overlooks the front garden, plus additional parking spaces where there's enough room to park 3 - 4 cars and that's without using the garage. Across the back of the house is the kitchen/diner where there are plenty of fitted kitchen units with integrated appliances and built-in oven and hob. There is also a utility area and a downstairs cloakroom. Added to the back of the house is a good size conservatory which overlooks and leads onto the level rear garden, which is large enough to keep the kids happy but small enough not to overtake your every waking hour. This is a modern house in a very popular part of Ashington and is definitely worth a look.

What the Owner says:

The fact this house was tucked away at the end of the lane was its main appeal for us. There is no passing traffic, very safe position for the kids to play and being the end plot meant it gave us more garden than most. We have a passion for cars, therefore plenty of parking for us was essential. Other things like the views from the bedrooms and the modern easy to look after feel of the house, plus the good size secured our interest. Ashington as a village is such a safe and welcoming place to be and we have enjoyed every minute of being here.
