" A truly unique opportunity to purchase this very special detached chalet bungalow that will surprise and amaze anyone who views it, especially because of its size. It is located on a very large rectangular plot set well back from this highly sought after road. The first impressions do not give you the perspective of the scale of the accommodation since the gable end is its frontage. It was built in 1978 and was owned by the neighbours next door until they moved in 2004, when the current owners moved in. They were looking for a project as, at the time, it needed modernisation and updating. They have spent around £100,000 to make it the fantastic place it is today. The current owners are only the second people to live here in over 30 years and virtually gutted it so now it is not only exceptionally large but also modernised and contemporary inside. We would challenge you to find anything bigger at the same price in Horsham. You simply wont! A huge sitting room of nearly 30' with a superb open feature fireplace, modern fitted kitchen with supporting utility room. Two large bedrooms are on the ground floor, one you can use as a study or playroom, the master with bespoke deep wardrobes and en suite bathroom with re-enamelled iron bath. Four large bedrooms are on the first floor and a family bathroom. There is also replacement double glazed windows and gas heating to radiators. The secluded rear garden is east facing and 122' in length. This is an impressive home!

What the Owner says:

This was everything we were looking for in 2004. We were local people and know the area well, so we didn't hesitate when we saw it. We wanted a project and Woodbridge gave us that challenge. We have spent a lot of money on it transforming its appearance. We still have some pictures we took when we first moved in and will be only too happy to show anyone interested in it. The area is very special, on the outskirts of Horsham, yet very close to Littlehaven railway station. The garden is private and mature and a great size. There is so much space here, much more than anything else we have seen. Despite our decision to move, we have been very happy here and will miss it very much.
