" Plenty of parking to the front of this pretty cottage, with lovely views over fields to the front. A raised Koi pond and pergola stand to the front, from where you enter a large entrance porch with plenty of space to leave your wellies and raincoats.The main cottage has an interesting layout and a nice flow to it. The lounge sits at the front with a centre piece fireplace and you have the kitchen off which is modern with plenty of units and work surface space. You can continue out a door back into the hall and the real gem about the cottage is there - a ground floor en-suite bedroom with own entrance so it can be self contained, ideal for your elderly relation or a self contained area where your teenager can really feel like they have their own space. A modern family bathroom completes the ground floor accommodation. Upstairs there are two double bedrooms with countryside views from the front.Outside, the cottage has mostly frontage and being well set back from the road offers plenty of parking with flowerbeds and lawn. The rear garden has enough space for an al fresco dining area and the front is for the green fingers!

We have found this cottage an easy to maintain and low cost to run. Being well set back from the road traffic noise is minimum and it is like we are in the country as open fields lay to front which offer a changing canvas as the seasons come and go.The living space downstairs was ideal and the rear en-suite ground floor bedroom would be just the job for an elderly relative or teenager as it also has its own private door to gain access without disturbance to the rest of the house.We have found the position extremely convenient as we are a 5 minute drive from Newport and the main road to the west wight is easy to get to.
