" A DELIGHTFUL UPDATED AND IMPROVED THREE BEDROOM DETACHED COTTAGE with lovely water views, parking, outside space and proven track record as a holiday let.

Old Post Office is a very well presented detached cottage in the heart of the peaceful waterside village of Golant. A traditional very pretty stone cottage with lovely kerb appeal, which sits in its own plot with access all round.

Having been renovated and modernised to a high standard by the current owners, with every attention to detail, this charming property offers spacious open plan living accommodation with wood burner and a wow factor kitchen on the ground floor, plus a useful utility and a wet room with shower and w.c. On the first floor are found three good-sized bedrooms, one being the master with en-suite shower room; a family bathroom and storage cupboard.

Outside there is a generous but low maintenance front garden area with a decked area perfect for alfresco dining making the most of the elevated views of the Fowey Estuary. There is a rear gravelled courtyard with washing line, garden storage and log store, leading back round to the parking space at the side of the cottage. Other features include bottled gas central heating, lovely windows with deep sills, T.V points in the sitting room and two of the bedrooms, and best of all super views of the water from much of the cottage. This would make a handsome family home, or idyllic second home with income, having a proven track record as a holiday let.
