" A former wheelwright's cottage and workshop, renovated and combined to provide a well appointed period property with contemporary comforts situated in the popular village of Helmdon.

The accommodation is arranged over two floors and comprises a bright and appealing summer room giving access to the reception hall. The hall serves an impressive 26ft dual aspect living room with a partially beamed and vaulted ceiling, woodburner and two sets of french doors to the garden. A further sitting room/dining room is located to the opposing end of the house with a kitchen, utility and cloakroom to the rear.   There are three first floor bedooms, a large open landing (previously housing a fourth bedroom) and a spacious shower room.   Additionally, there is a cellar beneath part of the property.

Situation
Helmdon lies to the north of Brackley and is a ribbon village, divided by the infant River Tove. Helmdon was the Northamptonshire Best Village Competition 2014 winner. Amenities in the village include a public house, a primary school and Community Reading Room where activities and meetings are held regularly. More comprehensive facilities can be found in nearby Brackley (which has a Waitrose) and Banbury where there is the Castle Quay shopping centre.

The A43 dual carriageway gives access to the M40 and M1 motorways. Commuting by rail is from Banbury or Bicester stations (London Marylebone).
