Flintham Flintham is a Nottinghamshire village, located approximately six and a half miles from Newark. The A46 gives direct access to the M1 at Leicester and also access to the A52 which links Nottingham and Grantham. From Grantham, the rail link to Kings Cross, London can be reached via train in just over an hour. The area and population of Flintham is relatively small providing Primary School, village hall, cricket pavilion, the Church of St Augustine and The Boot and Shoe, Main Street with restaurant and Bed and Breakfast facilities. The Flintham Museum on Inholms Road looks at village life through the eyes of a local shopkeeper.
