" Cellar Hill Cottage is a beautiful grade II listed detached thatched property set on about a quarter of an acre plot. It is situated on a quiet lane in the village of Lynsted, within walking distance of Teynham, with its many shops, facilities and train station. The property has the most attractive gardens, which are very well cared for and surround the property. The thatch has been dressed and is in very good order, having been replaced in 1989 and having had a new crown and clean about two years ago. There is a detached garage and a shingle drive with parking for several cars. Internally the property has many original features and real charm. Most of the rooms are heavily beamed with leaded light windows and fireplaces. There is a large inglenook in the sitting room with a former bread oven that now forms a hatch through the kitchen. As well as the separate sitting and dining rooms, there is a sweet study at the front if the property with a convenient cloakroom. There is also a small bedroom to the ground floor and a snug. The first floor has a bathroom and two double bedrooms. All in all a wonderful property, in a desirable location.
