" As you cross the longest surviving medieval bridge in Kent into the village of Yalding, the beautiful scenery around you is reminiscent of an Anthony Trollope novel! The High Street is a jumble of impressive manor houses and gorgeous chocolate-box thatched cottages, with the parish church at one end, and a timber framed village pub at the other.
Our property is located a short stroll from this High Street on a quiet tree lined cul de sac, and offers all that a family could ask for - good size bedrooms, family bathroom and additional shower room, an extended playroom, off road parking and a sunny secluded garden. And as an added bonus the village school around the corner has an outstanding OFSTED report, so you can be assured your children will be getting the best possible academic start.
Inside, this three bedroom house is in good condition, the family living here presently have made a number of improvements in the last 17 years. Yalding is a wonderful village - it has a fantastic sense of community and we have made many friends in the neighbourhood. The surrounding countryside is beautiful with lots of lovely walks and bike routes nearby. The station is walking distance and the village itself has a good selection of facilities including a post office, library, a village store and even a Thai restaurant! We have had many happy years in our house, it has good space for a family and the garden is great through the summer months.
