" Dating back to the 1920s, this prestigious family home has been extended and updated to a very high standard with elegant decor and is situated in a private setting in the Loose Valley with magnificent views. Set in approx 1.6 acres of land, the property is substantial with 6 bedrooms, 5 reception rooms, open plan kitchen, double garage, heated swimming pool with self-contained pool house, hot tub, log cabin, pond and waterfall. At the approach to the house, two wings form a central gabled entrance, whilst to the rear there is a symmetrical arrangement of twin gables and central conservatory. The striking entrance hall has first floor galleried landing, cloakroom and storage. The elegant dual aspect dining room has parquet flooring, two sets of double doors and fits a table to seat up to 14. The sitting room also has parquet flooring and opens through to the conservatory which has stunning views over the gardens and the valley. The spacious living room has a beautiful open fire set into a recess with windows either side and double doors opening onto the garden.
