" The current owners have been in residence for seven years and have thoroughly enjoyed the peace and tranquillity afforded by this unique and seldom available location, entwined with the convenience of Walton on Thames High Street and picturesque walks along the towpath of the River Thames; both located only moments away. In their tenure our vendors have painstakingly renovated the property and as a result it is presented in top-notch condition from top to bottom, under the skin the central heating, electrics, kitchen and bathroom have all been replaced. If you have been looking for a character property with none of the fuss usually associated with this age of home then look no further. The front door opens onto a welcoming entrance hall that leads to the open plan living/dining room. This is an excellent space for relaxing and entertaining; the double aspect ensures the room is filled with plenty of natural light whilst the gas fire provides a focal point for the room and an atmospheric source of heat for cosy nights in. The kitchen has been fitted with a comprehensive range of base and eye level units with contrasting work surfaces and hardwearing Amtico flooring. The stainless steel gas hob, double oven, extractor hood and dishwasher are all integrated leaving plenty of space for an American style fridge freezer. The far end of the kitchen opens onto the playroom that is a real suntrap in the afternoon and also can be utilised as a teenage/adult chill out zone. This space along with the w/c can prove very convenient as mum or dad can keep one eye on the children whilst bashing the pans. Upstairs the split-level landing provides access to the three double bedrooms, the master bedroom stretches the entire width of the property and affords more than enough space for large freestanding furniture. The family bathroom has been beautifully re-fitted and now features a modern white suite with separate shower. Outside the rear garden has been neatly landscaped with clean lines and low maintenance in mind. There is a hard standing area at the bottom of the garden with power for a large shed and the paved patio leads down to the side return and barbeque area before continuing through the side access to the front of the property.
