" A most intriguing detached residence, individually designed and built in the 1960's, set in a delightful cul de sac with a woodland backdrop. Now offering excellent scope for modernisation and extension, the property offers light and spacious accommodation together with ample parking and a garage. Entering through the front door, with a cloakroom to one side, steps lead down to the spacious living room with separate dining and sitting areas. Picture windows allow natural light to flood in and offer lovely southerly views across the garden, with a double glazed door onto the rear terrace. The adjacent kitchen is fitted with a wide range of wall and base units featuring light wood veneer doors and Formica surfaces. There is an electric hob and oven, plumbed washing machine and one and a half bowl stainless steel sink. Amtico flooring continues to the breakfast area, which has floor to ceiling windows and a door to the rear terrace. The breakfast area was part of an extension, added in 1986, which also provides a double bedroom and shower room with wc and basin in a vanity unit, also a lobby with access to bedroom four and to a side entrance. Up the open tread staircase to the galleried landing, with an airing cupboard and loft access, there is a double bedroom and also the master bedroom, both with a good range of fitted cupboards. The family bathroom, fitted with a white contemporary suite, has a heated towel rail and under floor heating. The house benefits from gas central heating and double glazing.
