Originally built as a village post office and general store, this charming detached cottage is set within the heart of the hamlet of Ballinger Common. It should be noted that Post Office Cottage has a very pretty courtyard garden to the rear and a small front garden yet retains a feeling of charm, Chiltern Line goes straight into London Marylebone, the station is located within a short drive at Great Missenden. Great Missenden offers a range of shops and restaurants and is the home of the late Roald Dahl, there being a museum dedicated to his life and work and characters that have become much loved over the years. Larger towns of Amersham and High Wycombe are close with a large Tesco and Amersham and High Wycombe has the Eden Centre, and the Swan Theatre.
