" Situated on the brow of the hill and just along from the favourable Racecourse area this is a great spot for a young couple or family to move into. The property is positioned towards the end of a no through road so an immediate benefit is the lack of passing traffic, which means the kids can play outside in a safe environment.Deceptive from the front, the property has generous accommodation having been extended over the years. It now offers three bedrooms on the first floor plus the WC and bathroom and then on the ground floor there are both living and dining rooms, a kitchen and separate utility room, hallway and WC.This could be an excellent buy for someone who wants to raise a family in a good area within easy reach of Alton's Town Centre.

What the Owner says:

We had lived in Alton previously and knew this was a popular area for local people. We particularly like how quiet it is here, something we really appreciated at that first viewing. We could also see the potential to grow into the property as a family and felt it was a safe location if the kids did want to play outside on their bikes.Whilst we have been here we have extended the property to enlarge the dining room and to give us the utility room and downstairs WC which we have found very useful as the kids grew older. We have enjoyed 30 years in this house but now the kids are grown up and we need less space we are looking forward to a downsize, particularly a bit less housework!
