" Walter George Tarrant built homes synonymous with quality craftsmanship in the early 1900s, and to a design that has certainly stood the test of time. Heath Lodge was originally built as a gardener's cottage but has since been extensively enlarged to create significant principal room sizes that create a home perfectly suited to family living and entertainment. The exceptional accommodation includes four reception rooms, six bedrooms, four bath/shower rooms and a huge kitchen/family room.

A dramatically spacious reception hall, with fireplace, acts as a great prelude to the rest of the ground floor. The drawing room, to give an ideal of scale, more than comfortably affords a grand piano whilst your sofas will be arranged around a large feature fireplace with cream log burner. The kitchen/dining room is clearly the focal point of the house and undoubtedly a room where much of your time will be spent. The kitchen is fitted with a fine range of hand-built & bespoke light-oak cupboards and drawers & contrasting dresser unit. The centrepiece is a huge granite topped central island incorporating the sink unit and breakfast bar. Integral appliances that may be available by separate negotiation include a double width gas range cooker (with chrome splashback and extractor hood over) and American style fridge-freezer and fitted integral appliances include a dishwasher. Oak floorboards extend into the dining area where there is space for a large dining table and French doors onto the garden. The other three individual receptions include a beautifully presented sitting room, off the kitchen a large family room and separate games room. These rooms are of course multi-functional in their purpose. A huge utility room has the usual space for washing machine and tumble dryer and houses the mega-flow style hot water tank and boiler. There are two separate downstairs cloakrooms.

Upstairs, off a large landing, are six individually accessed bedrooms. The master suite enters into a lobby off which are a dressing room

(with a comprehensive range of fitted wardrobes and cupboards) and the en-suite bathroom, fitted with a contemporary suite including bath and separate shower cubicle with twin wash handbasins, modern tiling and mirrors. The main bedroom area features a vaulted ceiling and twin opening French doors, with large arched fanlight over, leading to a personal sun balcony. Any of the other five bedrooms could comfortably afford a double bed and two have their own en-suite shower rooms. The family bathroom is again fitted with a modern white suite including bath and large walk in glazed shower cubicle. "
