SITUATION AND AMENITIES Beards Road is situated in this popular village of Fremington within a short walking distance of everyday amenities including Post Office, supermarket, primary school, range of pubs, a dentist and a medical centre. Instow with its yachting club and many maritime recreation facilities is about 2 and a half miles and the port and market town of Bideford about 5 miles. The regional centre of Barnstaple is a similar distance and offers a wider range of national and local shopping facilities, including Green Lanes shopping precinct, together with schools, theatre and cinema.
