" This lovely, thoughtfully-designed detached house lies a short distance from the conservation village of Colinton. It is set well back from the road with a substantial stone wall with private gardens to the front, side and rear of the property, large driveway leading to garage and complete with a lean-to conservatory as well as summer house.

Built in the early 1920s, it incorporates popular &quote;cottage&quote; features from the Arts and Crafts style, including rosemary tiled roof, dormer windows, leaded panes and white rendered finish.

The spacious accommodation has been well maintained by the current owners. The front door opens into a practical entrance vestibule flowing through to a welcoming hall with WC and plenty of storage. At the end of the hall to the right you will find a family room with three windows flooding the room with sunshine and framing leafy views, this elegant reception room offers ample space for various lounge furniture layouts, all arranged around a homely fireplace.
