SITUATION:  No 46, Gundry Road is situated on the eastern edge of the market town of Bridport within walking distance of facilities in the town centre.  Within the town there is a good range of shopping facilities, banks, schools, health and leisure centre (with indoor swimming pool) together with a twice-weekly street market.  

The sea and coast at West Bay is approximately 1.5 miles due south and here there is an attractive harbour with boating and fishing and, on East Cliff, an 18-hole golf course.  The immediate coastline is designated as a World Heritage site.  

Dorchester, the County Town of Dorset, lies about 15 miles to the east and here there is a main line rail service to London, Waterloo.
