" This is a pretty Grade II listed thatched former farmhouse with attractive gardens and adjacent paddock situated on the edge of a popular village.

The house is believed to have origins from the 17th and 18th centuries with further additions in the 20th century. The property has period features including exposed beams and an attractive open fireplace in the drawing room and there is a wonderful Trompe d'Oeil painting in the entrance porch and country scene mural in the entrance hall. It makes an ideal family home with well proportioned reception rooms, a modern kitchen, 6 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and a games room/play room in the second floor roof space, great for children. The attractive gardens and adjacent paddock are a real feature of the property and in all there is about 5 acres. The principal garden lies to the south and is screened from the lane by a mature laurel hedging, providing privacy. There are also several lawned areas, paved terrace, well stocked orchard, hard tennis court with the paddock lying beyond which has a pond and can be accessed from the lane.
