Galgate
Galgate is the principal road leading into the very centre of the town, making it ideally placed for access to all amenities.

Barnard Castle is an historic market town providing a range of shopping, recreational and educational facilities and is often referred to as the Gateway to Teesdale with many renowned beauty spots close at hand. Further afield can be found the delights of North Yorkshire, the Lake District, Weardale and Northumberland.

For the commuter the A66, A67 and A1(M) provides links with the major commercial centres of the North East. Darlington Mainline Railway Station and Durham Tees Valley International Airport offer further communications with the rest of the country.

The Property

70 Galgate
70 Galgate is a mid terraced Victorian property situated in the centre of Barnard Castle. The property has undergone significant refurbishment in the last few months and has the benefit of gas fired central heating throughout, full electrical rewire and a highly private rear courtyard.

The return stair case leads up from the entrance hall to the first floor.

The family bathroom/WC is a generous room being accessed from the half landing. The bathroom has been fitted to a high standard with a white suite comprising a freestanding bath, hand wash basin and WC along with a separate fully tiled shower cubicle with mains fed shower.

The master bedroom is positioned to the front of the property and is a generous double room having a sash window which over looks Galgate and decorative cornicing. The second bedroom is a further good sized double bedroom lying to the rear of the property and having a window which overlooks the rear courtyard. The third bedroom is a single bedroom and is positioned to the front of the property with a sash window which looks onto Galgate.

From the landing there is access to the loft space via a retractable ladder. The loft has been boarded and carpeted and light and power are connected.
