" First impressions can sometimes be deceptive, and this is most definitely the case with this attractive looking detached chalet style home. Purchased by the current owners some 22 years ago and having undergone refurbishment, this property now provides well designed accommodation maintained to a high standard. On the ground floor you will find a lounge with a pleasant outlook over the garden and has a set of glazed doors leading to the dining room which can be opened up for get-togethers. There are 2 bedrooms on the ground floor, although these can be utilised as a study, home office or in fact to provide a lounge and separate bedroom for an elderly relative. You will find 3 good size bedrooms, with the master bedroom featuring an en-suite facility. During the past 22 years the current owners have carried out many improvements which have included a re-wiring, a new roof, new windows, the erection of a detached double garage, complete redecoration and landscaping of a large garden that will offer you the combination of high level of privacy. This property is located in a prime residential area and is only a short walk to Tankerton Slopes and seafront. For everyday shopping there is a varied selection of shops including a Tesco convenience store, bars, cafes and a variety of restaurants which you can take advantage of. Swalecliffe Junior School is also within walking distance a real convenience as it is literally just a few minutes away.

What the Owner says:

The location of the property was the first thing that attracted us as it is in an ideal location to be able to reach local school, seafront, main line station and there were local shops just within walking distance. We did feel a little bit sorry for the property when we first saw it as it needed complete renovation, but there was potential to provide a good space and as we had a large family with 5 children, this house seemed to tick all the boxes both with the internal space and the fact that there was a large garden for them to explore and play whilst growing up. Whilst our children have now grown up we still enjoy peace and privacy which our garden provides us with.
