SITUATION
This quite outstanding older, cottage style, house is set within a much coveted location along a private drive within the heart of the village. DESCRIPTION
Over the years the property has been considerably extended and altered to create a particularly fine family home in a modern and contemporary style whilst retaining a number of the original features including panelled doors and brick fireplace surrounds. Also on the ground floor is a second bathroom, luxuriously fitted with white suite, mirrored recess and fitted vanitory units together with half tiled walls.
The turned hardwood staircase with recessed mirror on the half landing leads up to the first floor landing where there is an access panel to the roof space. The four bedrooms are all doubles with either fitted wardrobe cupboards or extensive storage cupboards, two bedrooms having wash hand basins set within vanity units. Off the main bedroom is a well fitted en-suite bathroom with bath shower cubicle, wash basin and w.c. Also on the first floor is a modern, contemporary style shower room with wash basin in vanity bar and w.c.
At the front of the house a wide brick paved driveway provides parking for three cars, leads to the single attached garage with workshop to the rear and has an easily maintained area of garden with rose and shrubs with a wide paved side access to one side of the house. To the rear is a well fenced and screened, good size garden with expanse of paved patio leading down onto lawn with shaped edges and ornamental shrubs. In one corner is a large summerhouse with light and power together with garden shed with light and power.
