" A completely refurbished eight bedroom detached Victorian residence providing beautifully appointed and spacious accommodation which we understand in years gone by, was frequently visited by T E Lawrence (Lawrence of Arabia). The present owners have just completed a comprehensive refurbishment programme, perfectly blending the original character with contemporary design features. The house has been reconfigured to facilitate modern day living with a superb 29` x 16` kitchen/family room at the rear with two sets of bi-fold doors opening onto the southerly facing garden. The kitchen area is beautifully appointed with soft-close wall and base units beneath granite work surfaces. Integrated Neff appliances include twin electric ovens with induction hood over, dishwasher and an American style fridge/freezer. The ground floor reception rooms and reception hall together with some of the bedrooms retain ornate Victorian fireplaces and, of particular note, is the handsome staircase rising to a galleried landing with fine stained glass windows.
