We hear people talking about Location, Loction, Location ... well this is the location sought afetr by many. Properties on Martin Drive don't come along very often, especially the bungalows, so now is your chance to grab one! (At the right price too!)

Martin Drive is on the south sideof Darwen, just off Cranberry Lane, just furher up than SpringVale (Garden Village). It backs onto nice open farmland and has exellent views Darewn Moors from the front too.

The property has undergone extensive modernisation over recent years, no expense has been spared. The whole house has been re-wired, there is a brand new kitchen and bathroom. YOu will be able to tell as soon as you view this property that it has been well cared for by the attention to detail.

Approach to this bungalow is up the front tarmac driveway. The front garden is on the right, which comprises a neat lawn bordered by colourful shrubs and perennials. At the far end of the driveway is a detached garage.

Entering through the UPVC front door and into the hallway, there is a very homely feel to this bungalow. The 'L' shaped hallway is nicely decorated and beneifts from laminate flooring.

Off tothe right is the first bedroom at the front of the property. It's a good-sized room

(3.2m x 3.2m). There is a good-sized window that overlooks the front garden.

The next room along the hallway is the main lounge (5.2m x 3.7m). This is a big lounge for the size of this bungalow - bigger than you think. The lounge is tastefully decorated in easy colours and benefits from a nice big front window, wall lights, good quality (recently fitted) carpets and a modern electric fire, which is a feature in itself.

Back into the 'L' shaped hallway (3.5m one way and 2.8m the other way), the next room on the left is the family bathroom, which is new.

The bathroom

(2.5m x 1.9m), as you can see from the pictures is nicely done (but you need to view and see for yourself, really). It comprises a WC, Wash Basin, and Bath with an Electric Shower over it. It is nicely tiled and everything compliments each other.

From the bathroom the next room is the Master Bedroom

(5m x 3.5m). This is an excellent size for a master bedroom and has excellent views over the back farmland.

The next room is the main Kitchen (5.25m x 3.6m) which has been recently fitted - and even the untrained eye can see it's a cracking kitchen that's been well fitted. It's one of those kitchen's many of us would like but be put off by the price. As you can see from the pictures there are loads of cupboards and it benefits from a good quality oven, ceramic hob, an extractor hood and some really nice features.

The floor benefits from hard wearing laminate flooring - very practical in a kitchen, especially when there are French Doors that open out to the Patio and Garden (I'm thinking of the children running in and out).....and there's ample room for a dining table.

Going out through the French Patio Doors into the garden, which has a tidy lawn again boredred by a colourful mixture of perennials and shrubs that offer colour all year round.

There's a path to the greenhouse at the back of the garage, as well as a side gate that leads to the driveway and provides access to the garage from the back of the house.

The loft has been partially boarded and insulated (the cavity walls have been insulated too).

All in all this is a lovely bungalow that has been done to an excellent standard. The best way to apreciate this property is to view it.
