" Set in the grounds of a converted country house, this three bedroom, end of terrace cottage forms part of the Barwick Park development. The approach to the house takes you though secure electronic wrought iron gates and along a tree lined avenue through the grounds. The cottage comprises of living room, dining room and kitchen/breakfast room. To the first floor are three bedrooms, one with ensuite and a family bathroom. The property also benefits from double glazing.To add to these luxurious surroundings the cottage is situated overlooking the lake and has access to 21 acres of garden. The property is a fantastic retreat from the hustle and bustle of daily life and is offered with NO ONWARD CHAIN.LOCATION    Barwick Park is renowned for it's follies, consisting of 4 'towers' namely, The Rose Tower, The Fish Tower, the Obelisk, and the most well known, Jack The Treater. These follies are maintained by the South Somerset District Council. A fifth folly, a magnificent Grotto lies within the grounds and form part of the estate.   Barwick House was built circa 1770 and was variously used as a prisoner of war camp and US Army base during World War 2 and during the 1960's to 1980's it was at one time a private school before falling into disrepair. The house was restored and re-occupied in 1994.

DIRECTIONS    From our offices in Princes Street continue around the one way system and at the roundabout take the first onto Queensway. At the roundabout take the second exit and continue along Hendford Hill, taking the first exit at the roundabout. Proceed along Dorchester Road, taking the third left and a short way along turn right through a set of wrought iron gates. Proceed along the driveway, passing Barwick House, the property can be found on the right hand side.
