" Set well back and within walking distance of the village and station, Bickleigh House is an attractive, detached house of quality dating from the early years of the twentieth century. With painted render exterior elevations, typical of Edwardian architecture, the house has been very well maintained and upgraded by the present owners, who have created a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Room sizes are generous, ceilings are tall and windows are large allowing for views of the pretty gardens. Period features such as the carved stair balustrading, panelled internal doors, tall ceilings with coving, a variety of fireplaces and the porticoed entrance marry together very well with contemporary touches such as modern bathshower rooms, a wonderful marble fire surround with gas fire in the dining room and the excellent, contemporarily styled kitchen. Reception rooms are generous and are supplemented by the conservatory and gym, whilst the open plan kitchenbreakfast room has ample space for casual dining and family living and is comprehensively furnished with a range of wall and base cabinetry, quartz work surfaces around a central island and integrated appliances including a wine fridge. There are six bedrooms altogether, arranged over the upper two levels. The principal bedroom has a range of wall-to-wall fitted wardrobes with a cleverly concealed entrance to the en-suite bathroom. Four further bedrooms on the first floor are supported by a seperate WC and the family bathroom. The second floor is given over to a double bedroom with en-suite shower room and ample eaves storage.

Situation
The property is located on a popular residential road only about a third of a mile from Warlingham Green with its range of local shops, restaurants and pubs with a Sainsburyβ€˜s supermarket a short distance away.
