" Description:
Situated at the edge of Winterbrook this Individual detached property is situated in a plot approaching one acre with a sweeping driveway from the lane and a large open lawned area and plenty of parking to the front leading to the garaging. Occupied by the current owners since 1971 it has been maintained in excellent order. Internally the property has solid walls and solid oak flooring throughout the ground floor except the tiled kitchen. With a feature bay window in the rear study the windows are all `Georgian style` and in very good order. Several rooms afford a great deal of light and are double aspect. The property was built in a `farmhouse style` with reclaimed tiles, the large loft area could offer scope to conversion. The well proportioned bedrooms have built in wardrobes.The kitchen has space for a table and has basic solid units and a walk-in pantry. Heating is gas to radiators and there is a separate boiler room. Radwinter enjoys a great deal of privacy because of it`s position in the large mature plot. There is a large detached thatched outbuilding which is currently separated into three parts, the thatch has been recently redone.

The gardens surrounding the property approach an acre and are mainly laid to lawn with mature trees and hedgerows surrounding the property and giving a great deal of privacy. there is also an allotment area at the side with a patio area for seating.

Location:
Winterbrook is the southern part of the town and the property is situated within a walk of the town. Wallingford was originally a walled Saxon town on the Thames the remains of Wallingford`s town walls can still be seen today. The remains of the Castle can also be seen from the Castle Gardens. Wallingford is a thriving market town. The centre is a major conservation area with fine examples of churches and architecture dating back to the 14th century. The landscape from the River Thames is officially designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The streets with their variety of small shops, pubs and restaurants, the antique shops in the Lamb Arcade, and the parks, commons and gardens make it a very pleasant town. There is a Waitrose Supermarket in the centre. The Country Market is held every Friday in the Regal Centre and the farmers Market is held every third Tuesday in the Market Place. The Corn Exchange is the home of Wallingford`s cinema and theatre, producing a wide variety of productions throughout the year. Three primary schools and a highly regarded High School which is also a sports academy. Wallingford is within easy reach of both the M40 and the M4 and only 15 miles from Oxford. The town has two nursery`s a primary and highly regarded secondary level schooling, and a full range of leisure facilities and sports groups
