The ancient deep water port of
Falmouth is situated in South West Cornwall, eleven miles south of
the county town Truro. Falmouth has four superb beaches:
Gyllynvase, Castle, Swanpool and Maenporth. In Victorian times,
Falmouth's world-wide links across the sea led to the development
of public gardens containing wonderful collections of exotic

DIRECTIONS:
From the Hillhead roundabout
head south down Union Road which becomes Bickland Hill after 0.3
miles, continue for 0.2 miles when the road becomes Bickland Water
Road. After 1.2 miles turn left into Swanpool Road, continue for
0.7 miles then turn left just as you sight the beach, Swanpool
Court is situated on the left after 100 yards.
