" This fine, detached property enjoys stunning views over the surrounding countryside. The accommodation on the ground floor is focused around the impressive reception hallway with curved staircase that rises to the first floor galleried landing. The double aspect drawing room has French doors opening onto a terrace which enjoys the excellent outlook, and there is a superb open fireplace with stone surround. The dining room is situated across the hall and again has a double aspect window and open fireplace. Towards the rear of the house there is a double aspect family room, cloakroom and the kitchen/breakfast room. This has been very well fitted with a range of floor and wall mounted units with granite worktops and a striking two oven Aga. There is a large pantry and a door into the utility room. A rear lobby provides an ideal boot/coats room and leads into the study/ workshop which in turn leads into the garages. On the first floor the galleried landing is both light and spacious and has doors to all the bedrooms and the recently re-fitted family bathroom. The master bedroom is superb with stunning views out of two sets of windows and a good size en suite bathroom.

Situation
A five-bar gate opens to a driveway which sweeps up and past the house and a gravelled area which provides parking space for several vehicles and culminates in front of the double garage. Arranged at a right angle to the garages is a detached stable block with four stables that provide excellent storage space. In all the plot extends to 1.15 acres.

Outside
The house is located in an enviable elevated position and enjoys panoramic far reaching views over the surrounding countryside. The popular and picturesque village of Wadhurst is to the east where there is an excellent range of local shops including a butchers, greengrocer and wine merchants. There is also a mainline train station long with a good primary school and the well regarded Uplands Community College for secondary education.
