" This house enjoys a great position and feels like home as soon as you walk in. The lounge/diner is complemented by a window at the front and sliding patio door at the back so the sun streams in virtually all day long making it a very bright, warm and inviting room. The dining area leads to the kitchen making it the perfect place to entertain and, as it also leads out to the rear and side gardens which would be perfect for those summer barbeques. The gardens face due south and are very sensibly screened by mature hedgerow so those with children will be confident that they are completely safe – just make sure they are well screened as it’s hard to escape the sun.The house itself would be perfect for young families and first time buyers alike with two good size bedrooms and very little need to fork out any money on updating. The landing is warmed by the sun in the afternoons. In fact there is even an air conditioning unit above the stairs making summer night times much more bearable.Planning has been granted for a 2 storey extension under Wealden Council WD/2011/0085

What the Owner says:

We realised when we viewed the amount of space on offer was far more than in any other house we had seen and really liked the gardens as we have young children. We set about updating the house and refitted the bathroom in 2007. We have completely redecorated the whole house and fitted new carpets upstairs. We also installed fitted wardrobes in both the main bedrooms. It’s a great community feel here and we close the road off for Guy Fawkes Night which is always a really good evening. The playing fields nearby are perfect for anyone with children and the Rocks Park has a great reputation.
