" This is a charming Victorian house with plenty of character, with 3 good size bedrooms, two reception rooms, and all ideally located for the town in the very popular St James area.A stained glass door with over light leads via reclaimed pine doors with glazed tops to the 2 separate reception rooms. The living room is a cosy welcoming room with a fabulous, often roaring fireplace and a charming sash cord window. The dining room is located next to the kitchen and has plenty of space for a table, and competes with the living room in the cosy stakes with a snug cast iron wood burning stove. On the first floor there is a master bedroom, a decent third bedroom and the bathroom. On the top floor there is an original bedroom that I have described as the second bedroom, which has planning permission (tw/07/02754/cpd/klm) to make a fabulous master bedroom. The garden is delightful, with some mature planting that creates a private secluded low maintenance little haven.
The owners can walk into town and find it very easy to shop without needing the car, or to pop down to the train station for easy access to London.

What the Owner says:

We absolutely love the Victorian character of the house and have enjoyed restoring many of its features. There is a delightful fireplace in the living room and we regularly settle down of an evening in front of a roaring fire! The dining room is large enough for entertaining – we have a large dining table and the wood burning stove is a real treat. The garden is really pretty, very easy to maintain and surprisingly secluded for such a wonderfully central location. The road is quiet and the planting and aspect makes the outside space very private.
