" From the moment you arrive at this lovely house, you are drawn to its calming and immaculate fa?ade. The Old Police House is a property where great pride has been taken in every element of its presentation, from the sophisticated neutral tones of its decoration to the smart kitchen and bathrooms.

The house has been reconfigured and extended by the owners to give it a pleasing, natural flow with ample space for the demands of modern family life. A great deal of thought has been taken with the layout, so that there is ample room for sociable activities, and to have some privacy in the more adult-orientated spaces. The balance achieved is just right, with four bedrooms and four receptions rooms arranged over two floors.

The entrance hall has doors through to the cosy sitting room which has an exposed-brick fireplace with log-burner, the study and through to the kitchen. Beyond the sitting room, still in the original part of the house is a snug, which could be a formal dining room, and a lovely conservatory enjoys the outlook over the garden. The open-plan kitchen/dining/family room stretching across the rear is truly the heart of this special home, with a kitchen area, dining space and sitting area for the family to share and enjoy. Double doors open out to the rear garden, and there is a nicely fitted utility room leading off, through which the garage and boot room can be reached. The super kitchen itself has granite work-surfaces, fitted appliances and ample base and eye-level units.

The stairs to the first floor split as they rise, with the master suite occupying the newer part of the property, and the three other bedrooms in the original part of the house. The master bedroom is a wonderfully bright and welcoming room, with dressing room and well-appointed en-suite. A family bathroom is equally stylish and this serves the three other bedrooms which are all spacious and light.

Outside, the rear garden is very attractive with a patio for alfresco dining and a manicured lawn. The garden backs on to the village playing fields, giving further play options for children, and there are several large sheds providing all the outside storage one could want. Ample parking is provided on the drive in front of the integral garage.
This lovely home will be available from18 August 2014.
