" This attractive five bedroom family home is a must see! It has been beautifully finished and maintained to a very high standard with solid oak floors and doors, luxurious bathrooms and a high spec kitchen. Leading off the entrance hallway there is a dual aspect 24 ft living room with open fire place and patio doors out to the garden, a lovely dining room with working woodburner and at the end of the hallway the stunning bespoke kitchen with integral appliances and range cooker. On the first floor the master bedroom is a wonderful feature of this house with built in wardrobes, a stunning new four piece en-suite bathroom. There are two further excellent double bedrooms, a single bedroom and family bathroom on this floor. On the second floor is another good double bedroom with a separate shower room. The high standard continues to the landscaped garden with a decked area and a lawn and is surrounded by mature shrubs and trees. Situation
The village of Cherhill is a picturesque Wiltshire village dominated by its white horse and monument. Dr Alsop, a local landowner, cut the White Horse into the downs in 1780. The impressive monument, The Landsdowne Obelisk was built to commemorate Sir William Petty, the 17th Century Economist. The village lies to the north of the A4 road and is full of interesting street names such as "Labour-in-vain-hill" and Broth Lane. The village has a primary school, a public house, a fine church and an active village community. Excellent shopping and recreational facilities are offered by the nearby market towns of Marlborough, Calne and Devizes, while the larger commercial centres of Chippenham and Swindon both have stations with services to London Paddington and access to the M4 motorway.
