" To find out what this beautiful property is all about, look no further than its name! It has been sympathetically updated by the current owner over the last 14 years and is now a home with a lovely warm feeling. Coupled with close proximity to Warren Mead Infant and Junior schools and the ability to extend (subject to planning permission), makes this a great family property.
As you enter through the solid oak front door you will find custom-made ledged and braced dark stained pine doors complete with 'Suffolk' wrought-iron door furniture leading to all rooms. The bright living room has a striking, custom designed, “Inglenook style” fireplace, complimented perfectly by a fantastic rustic beamed ceiling. Most rooms in the home display an array of beam-work to the ceilings, acquired from “Oakmasters” (the same company that restored Windsor Castle).
The kitchen/breakfast room is well thought out and is made of solid French Oak.
Upstairs the bedrooms are all a good size with the third having wall to wall space-saving wardrobes.
Outside the garden has been the owner’s sanctuary. A true cottage garden, extremely private and quiet, it is a place to relax and unwind surrounded by an abundance of trees and shrubs, within an attractive circular lawn area. The detached garage could come in handy for storage as well as protecting your car, or provide space for future extension (subject to consent).

What the Owner says:

I wanted to live in a quiet, peaceful area which had good road and rail transport links, whilst at the same time being close to the countryside. I was so lucky when I found this home - it is in the perfect location.I enjoy gardening and my cottage garden reflects the cottage-style of my home. It is always a pleasure to sit back and relax in this secluded space and watch the variety of birdlife.I shall be very sorry to leave here, but the time has come for me to move on and let somebody else enjoy this lovely home.
