" A Norwegian style log cabin within The Walled Garden of the exclusive Harleyford estate finished to a high quality, modern specification. Set within walking distance of the River Thames and towpath towards Marlow. The lodge offers a unique private gated entrance from the parking area.

Situation
Originally designed by Sir Robert Taylor in the late 1740's, the main Georgian house sits in the centre of this gated estate. Providing a tranquil setting, there is access to the Thames path and delightful walks across the Chiltern countryside. Within the estate is the magnificent Donald Steele designed 18 hole private members Golf Club with clubhouse and dining facilities. There is a seasonal riverboat bar/restaurant and an award winning marina. The town of Marlow is a few minutes drive with its excellent selection of shops, schools, bars and restaurants. Links to the city can be found via the A404 to M4 junc 8/9 or M40 at junc 4 or by rail from Marlow or Henley to London Paddington. Heathrow airport is about 20 miles away.

The Walled Garden lodges are located close to a car park offering ample parking. The well tended grounds within The Walled Garden are beautiful including well stocked beds and borders surrounding the pathways. This particular lodge is unique with having its own private entrance with more privacy. The estate provides 24 hour security.

Additional Information
The property has a west facing veranda to the front overlooking the gardens, making an ideal enclosed sitting and entertaining area. The entrance hall has double doors leading into the open plan living area, which comprises; the fitted kitchen and living/dining area, with sliding doors that lead onto the veranda. The rear aspect kitchen is fitted with appliances inc: four-ring hob with extractor hood, oven, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. There are granite work surfaces and a double sink with waste disposal. The hall also leads to all 3 bedrooms, family bathroom and utility room. The master bedroom has a sliding door leading to the veranda. The ensuite has a bath with a shower over and dual wash hand basins, tiled flooring and walls and a chrome heated towel rail. The second bedroom has a rear aspect while the single third bedroom, which could be used as a study, has a front aspect. The utility room houses both washing machine and tumble dryer. The lodge also has electric under floor heating through out. "
