" Guernsey Cottage is a detached property set off the High Street of Hurley village, within a farm estate. Entering the property through a lobby which houses a cloakroom. The principle reception rooms are located off the entrance hall. The sitting room has a working fireplace with a stone surround and on either side French doors provide access to the garden and a further window provides views to the front and farmland beyond. There are double doors that connect to the dining room and a further working fireplace features here, either side of which are display cabinets. The kitchen/breakfast room has a range of fitted storage units and integrated appliances and provides a sitting and dining area to one end where French doors open onto the garden. The back door opens into a covered area where there is a utility room, access to the garden and garage. The bedrooms of which there are four, are accessed from the entrance hall. The master bedroom has an en-suite shower room and the remaining three bedrooms are served by a family bathroom.

Situation
The village of Hurley is an attractive historic Thames-side village which includes one of the oldest hostelries in Britain, dating back to the 12th century, The Olde Bell. The parish church, which was part of the Priory of St Mary, is also of the same period. Guernsey Cottage is conveniently located for the riverside market towns of Marlow and Henley which provide a wide variety of shops and boutiques along with social facilities including highly-renowned restaurants and bars, such as the Michelin-starred Hand and Flowers and Cliveden. There is plenty of scope for walking, either along the river Thames on the Thames Path or in the nearby Chilterns. Transport links include the M4 at Junction 8/9 to Heathrow Airport and London beyond. Rail links from Maidenhead or Twyford to London (Paddington) are excellent with Crossrail planning the new Elizabeth line to be in service by the end of 2019 which will cut journey times to the City of London to approximately 46 minutes.

The gardens at the rear are mainly laid to lawn and interspersed with mature flower beds, trees and shrubs. Post and rail fencing mark the boundaries. There is a garden shed and a greenhouse. A patio runs along the rear of the property. There is a garage that has side access and a garden store room. At the front of the cottage is an in and out gravel driveway which allows for several vehicles to be parked with an area of lawn to the side and in the middle.
