" Originally two 19th century cottages, Homewood House has been enlarged over the years to create a fine family house providing excellent space with light & well proportioned rooms over three floors. The reception rooms have an elegant air and the big kitchen & family dining room opens out onto the wide sandstone terrace, looking down the garden to the fields beyond. The gardens and grounds of about half an acre have been beautifully planned, including traditional English lawns and a wildflower meadow area as well as Japanese-style & Italianate gardens and raised timber decking.Inside principle rooms are spacious, with sash-style windows giving good natural light and decor is neutral, imparting a tranquil atmosphere. The three floor layout works well and the master bedroom suite is a real feature with outstanding views from its east & south balcony, which provides uninterrupted views of the farmland to the rear. The village of Partridge Green is set in wonderful countryside and farmland, which provides good access to Horsham and Brighton as well as the surrounding villages. Village shops include a late opening general store, traditional butchers, bakers, a farm shop and the Post Office.

What the Owner says:

When we purchased our home, we were first attracted by the rural position and when we saw it had uninterrupted views over farm land to the rear we were sold.We are very keen gardeners and have been fortunate enough to buy some additional land, which has allowed us to extend the garden, which has been great for entertaining, family bar-b-ques and for a birthday party marquee. We have also extended the property by adding our master bedroom and leaving enough space for a balcony where we sit and enjoy the views, with a cup of coffee in the morning, or a glass of wine of an evening.
