" Believed to have been built originally for the local farrier, this is an early part brick and flint part timber framed cottage which has been extended in the latter half of the 20th Century to create a modern three bedroom detached family home. Set within pleasant enclosed and secluded gardens, this well presented cottage is situated to the southern edge of Peppard Common and enjoys lovely rural views across the common and to the properties beyond.

Location: Rotherfield Peppard is an attractive South Oxfordshire village which benefits from an historic church, a primary school, the Red Lion public house, the Ruchetta Italian Restaurant and Pizzeria and beautiful countryside affording lovely walks and rides. Sonning Common is a mile or so away and provides shops, a full range of schooling, doctors and dental surgeries and other local services for day to day needs. More substantial shopping and recreational facilities can be found in Henley-on-Thames, approximately 5 miles to the east, and in Reading, approximately 6? miles to the south. Train services to London Paddington from Reading take approximately 30 minutes. Directions
From the river bridge, proceed through Henley up Hart Street, into Market Place and up Gravel Hill. Continue for approximately 3? miles passing by Badgemore Golf Club and through Greys Green until you reach the T junction at Bolts Cross. Turn left onto the B481 signposted Sonning Common and Reading and as you approach Peppard Common take the left fork, into Church Lane, down the side of the common. The gate to Slaters Cottage will be found diagonally to the right when you reach the bottom corner of the common opposite Peppard Primary School.
